Cinemagic is presented by the Northern Ireland Film Council as a unique international film festival for young people. It is extremely well run and is a pleasure to attend.

The award winning feature film called The Crooked Mile has won the Tribeca Award (founded by Robert De Niro) the feature is the first time a non-us film has won this established award.

The Cork International Film Festival takes place in early October of every year. It has entered its 47th year. It is a well-established festival and provides an excellent platform for new Irish Cinema.

GALWAY FILM FLEADH

The Galway Film Fleadh is run in conjunction with the Galway Arts Festival. It has audience awards in four categories. It is a well attended festival and an excellent platform for premiere screenings of new Irish features.

This is a non-competitive festival, which invites full-length features and shorts to participate in the festival week.
