                            The controversy leading to the making 
                            of The Crooked Mile feature film uncovers a chance 
                            for the taxpayers to see what all the fuss was about 
                            when the States of Jersey were asked to part fund 
                            it. The premiere screening in Jersey took place at 
                            the Arts Centre on the 4th October 2001. 
                            (This included a workshop during the day for schools
