Writer & Director:
Stephen Kane of The Crooked Mile the first Jersey /
Ireland Feature Co-Production produced by Green Eye
Productions and Campbell Ryan Productions, is a
former graduate from the Dun Laoighaire College of
Art and Design. There he specialised in film
production, screen writing and directing and is a
keen photographer for which he has won several
prizes at national level in Ireland. He is a writer
director of several short films and documentaries
inclusive of A Cowboy in Jupiter (graduate film),
Made in Oz (winner of the 1991 RTE / Filmbase short
script award), and, Tu Crazy winner of the Fine Art
Award, Krakow Film Festival and best documentary
Waterford Film Festival. He is a writer for Film
Ireland and board member and chairperson of Filmbase,
a non-profit making organisation funded by the Arts
Council of Ireland, of which he has been a member
since 1991. He is currently in development with a
second feature (picture) |

Julie Daly-Wallman
of The Crooked Mile from her work on critically
acclaimed independent and major studio feature films
world-wide, it is apparent that she is an
accomplished filmmaker in the truest sense of the
words.
Her work ranged from starting out as
a runner at a local television station in Jersey
Channel Islands called Channel Television to
researcher at BBC (London) on a popular morning
breakfast show, from there she worked for United
Artists Programming (London and USA) working as a
programming assistant for the Discovery Channel.
Headhunted by the first fully digital television
company in the world situated in Italy (Rome) called
Orbit Television she was responsible for setting up
a promotions department from scratch.
From there she worked on a Hollywood Movie called
Divine Rapture starring Marlon Brando, Debra Winger
and Johnny Depp the film was shot in a small village
in Ireland called Ballycotton.
With over nine feature films under
her belt working beside some of the most talented
film makers in the biz, Producer Ovidio Assonitis (Pirhana),
Director Rachel Samuels, (Suicide Club)Writer /
Director Deborah Brock (Buffalo 66) and many more,
her work has ranged from Assistant Producer,
Casting Director and Script Supervisor. |

Avril Ryan
studied Accountancy at Dundalk RTC, Public Relations
at the institute of Public Relations and Journalism
and Music Management at the Rock School, Dublin. She
is a member of the Filmbase board of directors, FMI
and IFTA. She was Executive Director of The Machine
Theatre Company from 1998 – 2000 and has been line
producer / producer on The Rocky Horror Show (Tivoli
Olympia) and Krapp’s Last Tape for RSC/Royal
Hibernian Academy. She launched and managed two new
theatres in Dublin – the SFX City Theatre (1999) and
RHA Downstairs (1997). |

Triona Campbell
a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, a recipient of
a full scholarship through MEDIA in Audio Visual Law
and Economics, and, the first non-national to study
at The Australian Film School, Radio and Television
School in Melbourne. She has worked as a props
master with Roger Corman’s film studio, Concorde
Anois Teo. As a writer she has written for Film
Ireland & Film West. She is a board member of
Filmbase, a member of IFTA and FMI. |

His expertise in the field of DP extends to previous
features shot in Ireland and LA including Stray
Bullet 2, Criminal Affairs, Enemy Action, and Spaced
Jacked to name but a few. |

Pictures, New Horizons USA, Concorde Anois Teo and
